RE: WARNING - Maine RINO Alert
Paul Davis is my senator. I am not quite sure why he feels this way other than maybe he is supported pretty well by pubic employee unions as there are many public employees around here compared to the rest of us who work on REAL jobs!

RE: WARNING - Maine RINO Alert
...MF, at the root of your political issues is an insane, intolerable monetary order about which i've NEVER 'heard' you---or any of your stinking 'non-rino' Rolleyes republicans, peep...

...seriously, if you're going to foam about political issues involving illions of dollars, you really should acquaint yourself with the HIDEOUS origin, nature, etc., of even one dollar...

...your butt-ignorance about 'money' is evident to me and i am certain it will prevent you from any honest understanding$ of political/economic issues...sadly, i sense you will be relegated to an ignorant, republican-radio-level understanding of thing$ until you catch a clue...Wink

RE: WARNING - Maine RINO Alert
Auntie

The problem is that Wilson sold us all into the cabal two days before christmas 1913 probably at the stroke of midnight. It has been ingrained into our acceptance for 103 years, few talk or know about it because what is the point, there is a government revenuer with a gun pointed at your head to make sure you use them.

Considering that that fiat dollar is worth 2 cents of what it could originally purchase, and that FED policy is and was always to create inflation ( the present target of Yellen is 2 %) ( the actually rate is much higher than that because the government manipulates the cpi so as not to have to raise outlays to SSecurity etc) how many times can you chip away at the 2 cents towards the future. Do you think it will ever be worth 4 cents? no

All fiat currencies collapse, the clock has ticked down to 2 cents, people will realize the folly of the fiat in our lifetime. I know you know these things, but all the people see is that paper in their wallet and most people don't even carry cash they have those little plastic cards that they wiz through the machine. Grown men do this, wiz a little plastic card through a machine when they buy a 6 pack. All of it just some digits in another machine.

RE: WARNING - Maine RINO Alert
This can be refined, but it is a begining.
It's too bad that we don't keep a score card on all the Reps and Senators as whether they are on the proper side of votes or if they don't vote at all. Give them 10 points when on the proper side, subtract 10 points when they are on the wrong side and subtract 20 points when they don't bother to vote. They need to get 80% of available points to be eligible for reelection. When election time comes around, primary all with the lower point totals. If you can't take them out in the primary, vote for their opponent in the general. We can give their score cards to their opponents. The idea is to make them responsive to us and not the special interests.

That is one GREAT idea!
Now it's just a matter of how can it be implemented and by whom?

RE: WARNING - Maine RINO Alert
The easy part is establishing a database or spreadsheet for each legislative session by bill. Then track how each member voted on each bill. The hard part is to get enough people to review each bill and establish a consensus of what is the favored outcome. This would have to be done by vote as well. We could probably set it up in this forum and have the members vote on the bill, then have points assigned to legislators based on how they vote so a running tally could be kept on their percentage of being on the right side of issues. It could become a very interesting and popular endeavor with widespread readership. I would help populating the spreadsheet.

Once established, the special interests would attempt to infiltrate TMC in order to control the vote. We would need simple safeguards such as you would have to be a member for a minimum amount of time and had posted enough to achieve "Senior Member" status. Then the special interests would have to attempt to bribe us to control the outcome. It could be fun and educational!

RE: WARNING - Maine RINO Alert
Don't you wonder why each legislator doesn't have the means on their websites to solicit the opinion from their constituents for each bill? Hint, we don't pay them enough to care about our opinions. They prefer to get on the gravy train.

Of course we would have to do this with our Reps in Washington as well. Once we get the model up and running, it could be shared with Citizens groups in other states. Eventually the power would be wrestled from the elite special interest and returned to the Citizen. As the special intrest money is removed from interference, we would see less people interested in making a career out of politics. It would become obvious that it's been about power, control and our money for a long time. Soon only Citizen public servants would volunteer to perform the duty what with all the money removed.

...i think you'll find 'the money system' has ALWAYS been f'k'd...'the federal reserve act' merely provided another level of control over the greatest influence/power mechanism devised by man...btw, 'the gold system' was/is just another iteration of 'fiat money'...i.e. 'government' declares you use government-stamped gold coins [or whatever] to pay taxe$, fee$, fine$, court settlement$ and to satisy 'legal tender' requirements, etc. ad gd nauseam...

...money is, and has been for a loooooooooooooong time, essentially, numbers on the books at government-licensed banks...money can be thought of as points in 'the great $coreboard of life'...a numerical expression of our 'value'...i.e. how much 'value' we produce minus how much 'value' we consume...money is a VERY VERY important aspect of life that's LOOOOONG been ignored by the hated gd fool democrat bankster puppet$ and MF's gd fool republican puppet$....

...i will end by noting that 'the great scoreboard of life' is, and i believe has always been, rigged and rotten to the core and that it saddens and sickens me to listen to republicrat knuckle-heads constantly 'beating at the leaves of the tree of evil, NEVER striking at the root$'...and i have loooooong-tired of MF's republican monetary ignoramuses, bankster puppet$, etc. assorted gd fools galore...[please, turn the radio off!!...until you learn enough to know you are listening to mere bankster puppet$...you are damaging your brain by filling your limited brain with unlimited crap!... Wink

...as one wag put it: [if you don't readily understand what this vv wag is saying, you just may be a republicrat monetary ignoramus..] Wink

"Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The Bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create deposits, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take this power away from them, and all the great fortunes disappear, and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of Bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money and control credit."
