Shame on every democrat on the Labor Committee
Although I'm sure this won't surprise anyone here on AMG, every single democrat on the Labor Committee voted last week to keep Forced Unionism legal on Maine workers and their families.

For that, they all deserve a HUGE...

--------------------------

Since this important bill to end Forced Unionism (LD 65) will now move on to the full legislature for a vote, which could happen any day now, please take a few minutes and contact your local state representative and senator and ask them to vote YES on LD 65.

If LD 65 is passed, Maine would pass a Right-To-Work law which gives workers the freedom to choose whether to join or pay fees to a union, while also preserving their right to collectively bargain if desired.

This would be a win-win for Maine workers and their families.

BTW, for your convenience, the democrat committee members who voted to support Forced Unionism and deserve to hear from concerned Mainers are:

Perhaps the following new article will educate you a bit on the benefits of why passing a RTW law in Maine would be a win-win for all parties involved... except the greedy union activists and their corrupt politican buddies:

No Love for Forced Unionism

78 percent of business leaders prefer right-to-work states

May 24, 2017

“Nearly eight in ten business leaders say they prefer operating in right-to-work states, according to a new study.

Chief Executive magazine surveyed CEOs across the country about the economic environments that are best suited for their companies. The survey found that right-to-work laws, which prohibit mandatory union membership as a condition of employment, play a large role in attracting business. Of the 500 CEOs polled, 78 percent reported that they preferred to operate in such states compared to just 3 percent that preferred or operated solely in unionism states.

All ten states that were graded as having the best business climates are right-to-work states, while the bottom 13 states do not have such laws on the books, according to the magazine, which releases annual rankings.”

RE: Shame on every democrat on the Labor Committee
Right to work states attract employers.

Low or no tax states attract workers and retirees.

Those are two indisputable facts.

The democrat/liberal response to this information is to ignore it or deny the truth of it, and seek to legislate less freedom in the workplace and higher taxes on those who work.

Liberalism is a mental disease.

Wow, Dale and Islander nailed it with those last two posts! You're sooooooo right BUT we need to rally the troops who actually care about this major problem if it's ever going to get changed.

Please contact as many legislators as you can before they vote on LD 65 and ask them if they're planning to help make Forced Unionism illegal in Maine OR will they vote to keep it legal on our workers and their families?

After the vote happens, we'll know who voted to support keeping it legal and will then need to begin working to get them replaced in office when their term expires. DRAIN THE SWAMP!

RE: Shame on every democrat on the Labor Committee
You notice how the left, fully supported by an "activist media" always prevails these days.

Where is this garbage all going to end?

Rolleyes

...lol!...wagged at by a fan of republcan-radio talking points!...[let me guess: you're a big fan of fkn idiots howie carr, sean hannity and rush blowhard...gee, how did i know that?] Wink

...a little tip for radio-republicans: yes, you may have stumbled onto some truth/reality on the issue of 'right to work'...my problem with you is the $elective way you exercize your logic/morals:...essentially, hard core 'free market' for 'blue-collar workers'...but not EVER a stinking peep about SOCIALIST/AUTHORITARIAN 'occupational licensure laws' (which amount to forced unionism) for 'white collar' 'profe$$ional workers'...'socialist government is good here, right, moving forward? Wink )

... but methinks 'the real problem' goes, AGAIN, back to a 'money problem'...a problem about which moving forward's goddamned miserable brainwashed numbskull republicans and the stinking democrats have NEVER addressed in my lifetime...not a peep from your scumbag republican puppets, 'moving forward'..EVER...

...as one wag put it, 'if you want to know who your ruler is, look for the person(s) you can't safely criticize...similarly, 'if you want to know which political issues are the most important, look for the one$ about which the goddamned republicrats never $peak publicly'...

...[ugh, republicrats!!...forever flailing at the leaves of corruption, never striking the root$..] Wink

RE: Shame on every democrat on the Labor Committee
Auntie Republicrat just had a nice little rant, and I hope s/he feels better now but I also think it might be time to increase the dosage of his/her daily medications. It can't be healthy to live with that much hatred... get well soon! Love
