Maine Immigrants Fear "Rough Waters" Ahead!
Story in the weekend Bangor Daily News

Immigrants fear rough waters after federal agents arrest Maine immigrants

......."About 100 people gathered at Portland’s Deering Oaks Park Saturday afternoon to voice their support of immigrant communities, and protest recent developments that bode ill for migrants seeking a new life in the United States........The action from the local chapter of immigrant-run civil rights organization Movimiento Cosecha, comes after recent events, where two migrants were controversially arrested by federal immigration officials and now face possible deportation".......

......."We’ve seen ICE agents doing sweeps in neighborhoods.” organizer Magnifique Butoto said..........These are terrifying times, guys.” Butoto said. Butoto said LD 366 would basically conscript local law enforcement agencies into acting as federal agents, and punish resistant towns by withholding state dollars".......

More promotion of the idea of making Portland a "sanctuary city"

If you read the comments beneath the story it will do your heart good. Virtually ALL of the posters took the BDN to task for failing to use the descriptive adjective "illegal" in front of the word "immigrant". Most seem to realize that it is done deliberately by the BDN as just a normal part of their "sleazy" reporting.

All of the posts that I read are for throwing every single one of them out of the state of Maine, dragging them out by the heels if need be, it's not fussy how it's done as long as it gets done.....soon!

Maybe things are swinging around a bit, that would be great!

RE: Maine Immigrants Fear "Rough Waters" Ahead!
They never protested Obama when he was the "deporting" all those illegals, wonder why. Maybe because it was just another lie, maybe Underminer can check with Chin and get back to us, lmao.
Time to go after the businesses that hire illegals and enforce that law also, tax any remittances etc. And just what is this open border, think anyone can walk into Mexico or Canada without getting shipped back?
