“The conception that the tick has to be attached for 48 hours to inject the bacteria is completely outdated,” she said. “There are studies that show that an attachment of 15 minutes can give you anaplasmosis,10 minutes for the Powassan virus, and for the different strains of Borrelia burgdorferi, we have no idea.” The original article |

RE: LYme Disease ticks
The little tick bastards have decreased, while the little black bastards have increased, well it is going to be a buggy spring.
Thank you Bob for getting TMC back on line |

RE: LYme Disease ticks
The little black fellas are pretty thick in my neighborhood as there is more than enough suitable water for breeding. They breed almost as fast as the EBT card crew does.
I'd probably had 15 kids myself if someone else had paid all the bills and fed them! WC |

Your other half might have had something to say about that, WC.
Is it considered a conspiracy if they really are after you? ![]() |

Another tick bite and another refusal by my "caregiver" to prescribe nothing more than a prophylactic dose of doxycycline. Doxycycline the same medicine given to people for acne, yet for tick bites they treat the prescription as a antibiotic capable of creating a so-called superbug. Protocol the "caregivers" call it, rolling the dice is what anyone with a tick bite should realize. |

RE: LYme Disease ticks
They did the same thing to my wife, she went to another Dr. recommended by a close friend who has Lyme. She was then prescribed the full cycle of Doxy.
